Background Information:
Judge Dallari Landry, has been the San Marcos Municipal Court Presiding Judge for the past four (4) years, was the associate judge for almost four (4) years prior and desires to be reappointed for a two (2) year term. Her current appointment term will expire on November 1, 2022.

The State Law regarding municipal court judges, Texas Government Code ? 30.00006(d), requires that the term of office for municipal court judges be for a definite term of two or four years. Chapter 55 of the San Marcos City Code contains provisions governing the operation of the Municipal Court. Section 55.03 of the City Code provides that the presiding and associate judges be appointed for a term of two years.
