Background Information:
The Sidewalk Maintenance Program is a maintenance program to identify, inspect, prioritize, maintain, and repair unsafe or non-compliant Americans with Disability Act (ADA), existing sidewalks. The program also serves to meet City Council's strategic initiative for a Multimodal Transportation system to improve accessibility and mobility, minimize congestion and reduce pollution. The program utilizes operational funds and a combination of in-house crews and contracted services to repair the city's existing sidewalk infrastructure. The sidewalk maintenance program focuses on existing sidewalk infrastructure and does not include construction of capital improvement sidewalk projects.
