Background Information:
In October 2021, the City of San Marcos submitted application for financial assistance from the Flood Infrastructure Fund under the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) for Briarwood and River Ridge Improvement project. This drainage project will reduce flood risk in the Briarwood subdivision and add additional runoff conveyance capacity by constructing a new channel, detention pond, and stormwater drainage system. Two additional lots north of the pond will be constructed with culverts for additional detention.
