Prior Council Action: (Postponed on August 17, 2021) Council approved Parking Advisory Board recommendation resolution 2019-01 on 10/15/2019. Part Four specified the use of $500,000 in TIRZ #5 funding for the Electric Cab Pilot. On 08/03/2021 Council considered a budget amendment to add these funds to the approved budget. At the August 17, 2021 meeting City Council postponed staff's recommendation for award.

On November 19, 2020, the City received three (3) proposals in response to RFP 220-270 for an Electric Cab Pilot Microtransit Solution. Proposals received were from RideCo., Los Angeles, CA, O-Cartz, Orlando, FL, and E-Cab of North America, Austin, TX.
