Background Information:
The Sustainability Committee has received information from staff regarding potential issues enforcing ant-idling restrictions in the extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) of the City of San Marcos.

The proposed ordinance change would limit applicability of the anti-idling rules in the ETJ to "within 1000 feet of the ETJ" instead of the entire ETJ.
