Background Information:
The north section of FM 110 is scheduled to let (bid) in June of 2021. The north section is from Highway 80 to IH 35 at Yarington.
The highway will pass through two separate parcels of city owned property. One is the airport property (Parcel 17N - 24.463 Acres) and one is south of the Gary Job Corp facility (Parcel 20N - 8.820 Acres). The ROW for FM 110 in these parcels needs to be conveyed to Hays County for highway construction to begin. The ROW will be conveyed at no cost in exchange for modifications/improvements made to the roadway that were negotiated during the design phase to accommodate the city and the airport. These modifications are included in the package of documents.
