Background Information:
The Fire Department has a surplus 2014 Spartan ERV 100-foot aerial ladder truck that is no longer needed by the city. The apparatus was offered for sale through a competitive online auction. Following the auction, Austin Community College (ACC) offered to purchase the ladder truck for $300,000.00 and pay the city $21,000 additional to cover the city's 7% auctioneer commission.
