BACKGROUND:
This resolution will establish new monthly rates for City owned facilities at the airport. These rates have not increased since 2004. The proposed changes are:

Proposed rates were presented by Texas Aviation Partners (TAP) at the September 11, 2014 Airport Commission meeting. The Commission recommended adoption of the FY 2015 rates only.
In 2011, TAP proposed, and the City Council, adopted new rates for "Unimproved Land" and "Improved Land with Hangar or Facility." At that time, a slight increase to City facilities for monthly rates was proposed but the increase was deferred based upon the Airport Commission's recommendation.
As part of the recent business plan, TAP reviewed rates at peer airports, and its findings are listed below.

Based upon rate comparisons and the healthy waitlist (as of 9/22/14: 29 on waitlist for T-Hangars & 12 for shelters), TAP is recommending the increases for the next two years.
