Background Information:
The Public Works Department is purchasing a new second vacuum truck for the maintenance and cleaning of the City's stormwater drainage system. Since the purchase of the current truck in 2017, the City's stormwater system has increased by 285%. The new truck will increase the annual cleaning of the City's 129 miles of storm drains and pipes prior to high rain events.

This purchase is being made from Doggett Freightliner of South Texas LLC - Austin, through the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative BuyBoard Contract #601-19.
