BACKGROUND:
Pursuant with Sec. 82.160, the installation of restricted parking area requires establishment by ordinance.
The roadway width for the 100 and 200 blocks of Jackman Street (from San Antonio St. to Centre St.) is 18 feet. In order to maintain a 14 feet travel way for the safe movement of emergency management vehicles (Pursuant with Sec. 82.172), city staff recommends parking restriction anytime on both sides of the street segment.
Pursuant with 82.067- The traffic engineer shall develop and maintain a traffic register containing a record of every location in the city where any traffic control device or special regulation is made applicable, whether by ordinance or by the traffic engineer's authority established under this chapter.
