Background Information:
The City of San Marcos is the designated recipient for federal and state funds for the San Marcos Urbanized Area. The City of San Marcos operates the city's transit service with Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) through an Interlocal Agreement.
The San Marcos Transit Riders Guide is a handbook of rules and procedures for accessing the City's Transit system. Adoption of the Transit Riders Guide is necessary for compliance with state and federal guidelines.
