Background Information:
On October 15, 2024 City Council approved Vision SMTX, the City's Comprehensive Plan. This Development Code amendment considers potential amendments to implement the Comprehensive Plan. The amendment also incorporates direction from City Council and City Council Committees, revisions to the Texas Local Government Code following the 2025 Legislative Session, and process and text improvements identified by various City departments.
