Background Information:
Multiple departments throughout the City met to review the existing Special Events Ordinance with the goal of creating a more streamlined process for the community. The proposed changes to the ordinance are a culmination of months of work from the following departments: Fire, Planning & Development Services, Emergency Management, Parks, Traffic, Police, Neighborhood Enhancement (Health, Code Enforcement, Animal Services, Community Enhancement), Destination Services (Main Street, Arts), Communications and the Marshal's Office.
