Background Information:
The City Council previously approved an employment agreement for City Manager, Stephanie Reyes dated February 21, 2023, and an amendment to the agreement on August 1, 2023. The employment agreement as amended remains in effect and contains provisions regarding severance in the event the City Manager's employment with the City ends under differing circumstances.

The City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk have requested that the severance provisions in their respective employment agreements be separated from the existing agreements and memorialized in a standalone severance agreement.
