Background Information:
Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes the City to contract with local governments and agencies of the State of Texas. Additionally, Chapter 271 of the Texas Local Government Code authorizes the City to participate in cooperative purchasing programs with other participating local governments or a local cooperative organization.
