CITY COUNCIL GOAL:  Maintain and improve city infrastructure.

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ELEMENT:  Transportation

BACKGROUND

Due to the Hunter Road widening project, the owner was required by the City and TXDOT to close its original driveway entrance near the intersection of Hopkins Street and West San Antonio Street to improve traffic safety.  The driveway relocation requires an access easement across city owned property.

The easement will terminate if a new driveway is installed in a different location or if alternate access to the property becomes available.

The easement will not prevent the City from installing utilities and infrastructure above and below the driveway.
