Background Information:

Umami Sushi was first approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for on-premise consumption of beer and wine in 2017 for one year. Subsequent approvals by Planning and Zoning Commission were in 2018 for 3 years, and 2022 for 3 years. The previous CUP expired on February 22, 2025. Staff recommends approval for three years from the most recent expiration date, to compensate for the expired time.
