Background Information:
Pursuant to the authority granted in Local Government Code 271, the City is making this equipment procurement from Rush Truck Center, Buda Texas through Buyboard cooperative contract #601-19 in the amount of $99,575.

This purchase is for a Chipper Dump Truck to enable safe and efficient roadway maintenance by the Traffic Division of the Public Works Department. The Traffic Division does not currently have a dump truck for maintenance operations. The chipper dump truck will be used for tree/bush removal operations within the city rights-of-way.
