Background Information:
The Public Transit System Interlocal provides essential transportation to the residents of the San Marcos urbanized area. The Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) provides transit service and maintenance under the agreement which includes local fixed route service, complementary paratransit service and express interurban service from San Marcos to Austin.
