Vision SMTX
Background Information:
The Vision SMTX Comprehensive Plan was adopted by City Council in October 2024 and guides long-term decision making on topics important to the community including transportation, housing, parks, economic development, environment and resource protection, and arts and culture. As part of the implementation of this plan the city is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Comprehensive Plan Oversight Committee to fill one available vacancy. The term of the vacancy will be from appointment until Feb 28, 2028.
The Committee’s charge is to contribute to annual reporting of implementation progress and evaluation metrics, serve as stewards of the Comprehensive Plan, and ensure future efforts are aligned with the Plan. The Committee was established by Ordinance 2013-58, included in the packet.
