CITY COUNCIL GOAL:
BACKGROUND:
The Greater San Marcos Partnership (GSMP) bylaws allow three representatives from the City of San Marcos on the Board of Directors: City Manager and two additional appointees. Since the formation of the Partnership, Mayor Daniel Guerrero and a Council Member have served as representatives for the City on the GSMP Board. As a result of the elections on November 4, 2014, the seat Council Member Becak filled is vacant. The City Council needs to appoint a representative from the City of San Marcos to fill this vacancy.
