CITY COUNCIL GOAL:

BACKGROUND:
The San Marcos Fire Department has a tool compartment that was originally part of a brush truck. The brush truck has since been refurbished and the tool compartment is no longer needed.  Buda Fire Department has requested that the San Marcos Fire Department donate the tool compartment. Buda Fire Department will place the tool compartment on their brush truck to store equipment including a chain saw, wildland packs, and other firefighting equipment.

Purchase of a new tool compartment would cost an estimated $1,200, but a fair estimate of this used tool compartment in its present condition would be approximately $300.
