Background Information:
Annual Board/Commission appointments were made in accordance with City Code Sec. 2.072. - Appointments.
(a) Appointments to all city boards and commissions whose membership is wholly appointed by the city council shall be in February of each year with terms to commence March 1 unless otherwise provided in the ordinance, resolution or other law governing a board or commission.
These were completed on February 1, 2022. However, at this time there were various boards/commissions with no applicants or no qualifying applicants for specific roles. At this time Staff is asking council for their nominations and consideration to now fill some of these vacancies.
