Airport Master Plan
Background Information:
The FM-110 Drive Connection project includes a new roadway connection from FM-110 to the San Marcos Regional Airport. On November 20, 2025, the Airport Advisory Board provided a street name recommendation of "Carruthers way" for the new roadway. On December 16, 2025, in Council Work Session, City Council provided a recommendation of "George Carruthers Way".
Construction of the roadway is expected to start in Fall 2026 and will take approximately one year to complete.
