MOTION: A motion was proposed by Councilmember Scott, seconded by Councilmember Gonzales to approve the annexation request. The motion carried 6-1 with Councilmember Baker dissenting.

Background Information:
The purpose of the request is to develop a gas station / convenience store on approximately 2.8 total acres owned by the property owner. The first 80' of this property, along the IH-35 frontage road, is already annexed. Therefore, this request will annex the remaining portion of the property (2.1 +/- acres).
Water service will be provided by Crystal Clear. This site is not fully located in the San Marcos Wastewater CCN, however, the CCN boundary will be updated after annexation of the site and will be serviced by the City of San Marcos.
