Background Information:
The purchase of this street sweeper will allow the Public Works Department to sweep narrow roadway facilities such as bike lanes and shared-use paths. This street sweeper will allow equipment operators to clean recent bike improvements on Hunter Rd and Guadalupe Street which are constricted by physical barriers. The purchase is from CLS Equipment Co., Inc of Richardson, TX through TIPS cooperative contract 119-001 in the amount of $226,844.55.
