Background Information:
The City possesses numerous generators which require routine maintenance and repairs. The previous contract with Integrated Generator Systems, Inc. expired on May 30, 2019.
The City issued solicitation 219-253 and on June 27, 2019, five bids were received for Generator Maintenance Repair and Parts for Facilities.
Award is recommended to LJ Powers, Inc., Austin, Texas, who is the lowest responsive responsible bidder for an estimated annual amount of $35,000 or $140,000 for the full four-year contract term. The initial term of this contract will be for one (1) year effective August 20, 2019 through August 19, 2020. The City has the option to extend for three (3) additional one (1) year terms.
