BACKGROUND:
This request is to approve a state use contract between the City of San Marcos and Goodwill Temporary Services, Inc., through TIBH Industries, Inc. (Human Resource Code, Section 122).  This contract will provide the janitorial services for the Activity Center, Police Department, Public Library, and Neighborhood Services Building.

The contract will be effective December 1, 2014, through November 30, 2015; therefore, it crosses two fiscal years.  The total amount of the contract for a one year period is estimated at $208,909.92, but the estimated amount required for FY15 is $156,253.17.  Purchases against this contract are contingent upon the approval of the FY16 budget by City Council.
