• Council passed an Ordinance prohibiting “for profit” scooters - May 2020
• Provided for scooter pilot program
• Allowed private scooter use
• COVID-19 restrictions on bus carrying capacity lead University to explore an alternate option for student transportation needs
• University began discussions with Spin - June 2020
• City joined University in discussion on potential scooter pilot - July 2020
• Agreements with Spin reached - August 2020
• Scooter pilot begins - September 2020
• City, University, and Spin hold weekly meetings and monitor the scooter pilot - (Sept. - Present)
• Spin provided a summary of pilot results for the fall semester - January 2020
