Vision San Marcos - A River Runs Through Us
Background Information:
The City of San Marcos was named a Bronze Bicycle Friendly Community in 2018 and received renewal in 2024. This presentation highlights the significance of the Bicycle Friendly Community designation and the 14-month collaborative process that informed the application. The League of American Bicyclists, a nonprofit organization, is the issuer of this recognition. Additionally, the League returned a scorecard to the City with recommendations for continued progress in the areas of Engineering, Education, Engagement, Evaluation, and Equity.
