Program History & Background
On September 14, 2021, the City of San Marcos entered into a shared mobility service contract with Skinny Labs, Inc., operating as SPIN. This partnership was established to enhance urban mobility by providing convenient and sustainable last-mile transportation options, particularly through the deployment of electric scooters (e-scooters) and, later, electric bikes (e-bikes).
