Background Information:
The fee schedule adopted by Ordinance No. 2019-25 reflects service fees for Alarms 4-5. Section 30.029 of the San Marcos City Code currently authorizes service fees only after six false alarms within any 12-month period. Adoption of this amendment to Section 30.029 will allow the assessment of service fees for each city response to a false alarm after four false alarms, instead of six, within any 12-month period and thereby make the code provision consistent with the adopted fee schedule.
