Background Information:
The City of San Marcos is authorized through Local Government Code, Chapter 271, and by the "Interlocal Cooperation Act", Texas Government Code, Chapter 791, to participate in cooperative purchasing programs with other governmental agencies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of local government procurement and contracting.
