Background Information:
The City of San Marcos contracts with the Greater San Marcos Partnership (GSMP) to support economic development within the city. The current agreement for economic development services was approved 7-0 by City Council on September 7, 2021.
Within this agreement, GSMP provides services in small business development, business retention & expansion, business recruitment/attraction, and workforce development. This report and accompanying presentation fulfill the contractual requirement to provide the City Council and City Manager with a semi-annual report on activities done for the first six months of the agreement term.
