Background Information:
The water/wastewater division requires emergency and routine generator maintenance and repairs for twenty-three (23) generators across the city on an as-needed basis. Solicitation 222-161 for Generator Maintenance & Repair was issued on April 3, 2022, and five (5) bids were received on May 5, 2022. Staff recommends award to the lowest responsible responsive bidder, L.J. Power, Inc, located in Austin, TX based on the total unit price bid amount of $67,064.00.
The initial term of the contract will be for one (1) year, with the estimated effective dates of mid-June 2022 through mid-June 2023, for the estimated annual amount of $23,000. The City has the option to extend the contract for three (3) additional one (1) year terms to be awarded administratively.
