Background Information:
On May 19, 2022, the City received three (3) proposals in response to RFP 222-165 for Security Video & Access Control Maintenance. A City-Staffed evaluation team of (3) members evaluated all proposals received based on criteria identified in the RFP. Based on the total combined scores of the evaluation criteria, the evaluation team determined the best value to the City to be Knight Security Systems, LLC. The following matrix shows the combined scores per criteria and resulting ranking:
The term of the contract will consist of an initial two (2) year term with the option to extend for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods for a total combined period of five (5) years. Any renewals will be executed administratively. The cost annually is $109,328.88.
The purpose of the contract is to provide support and maintenance of the City’s security system which includes all S2 access control and milestone video surveillance systems. Maintenance and support services include repair or replacement of any defective part of the system without charge to the City, same day service response, annual system functional testing, system health monitoring, and license management including annual license renewal.
