Background Information:
The City’s previous three (3) year contract with McCamant Consulting, LLC for professional wholesale power and utility consulting services will expire September 30, 2018.
City staff have determined that McCamant Consulting, LLC is the most qualified to provide wholesale power and utility consulting services to include wholesale power supply and electrical financial performance recommendations, analysis and recommendations. Services include but are not limited to a variety of very specialized services relating to the electric power market, regulatory developments, formal market pricing options, negotiating and finalizing customer supply options and intermittent progressive power generation options, to name a few.
The City will compensate McCamant Consulting, LLC a fixed fee of $66,000.00 annually plus an amount not to exceed $5,500.00 for reimbursable expenses. The initial term will be will October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019, with three (3) optional one (1) year extensions.
