Background Information:
A request for the highest bid of used transformers was issued on May 23, 2022 and closed on June 23, 2022. One bid was received from Alamo Transformer Supply Company. The bidder exceeded the minimum bid amount for each of the six transformers for which they submitted a price. Two bid items received a “no bid.”

After the bid was received, the city chose to remove two transformers to be used for other commitments. The total transformers being awarded to Alamo Transformer Supply Company are four (Items 1, 4, 5, and 8), for a total sale price of $68,514.
Item 6 and 7 which were a “no bid” will be reissued for public bidding.
