Background Information:
The City requires a vendor to readily provide pumps, motors, and repair services for the City’s Water/Wastewater Utilities system to ensure safety and continuity of water and wastewater services to its customers.
Pursuant to Local Government Code, Section 271.102, the City is authorized to participate in cooperative purchasing programs. Therefore, staff recommends award of this contract to Zone Industries, Houston, Texas, in the annual amount of $200,000.00 through BuyBoard contract #672-22 for a total contract period not to exceed five (5) years.
