Background Information:

The TMLIRP recognizes members’ growing cyber liability and data breach exposure and began providing limited coverage at a minimal cost.   As cyber risks have continued to grow, the TMLIRP board has created a Cyber Liability and Data Breach Response Self-Insurance Fund to provide broader cyber and data breach coverage options.  To continue receiving cyber liability and data breach coverage through TMLIRP, the City must submit the attached Cyber Liability and Data Breach Response Interlocal Agreement to join the new  Cyber Liability and Data Breach Response Self-Insurance Fund  by September 30. 2024.  This will allow us to continue our current levels of coverage and provide options for expanded coverage.  We are exploring those options as information becomes available.

The Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool was formed in 1974 through a coalition of member public entities to provide a sustainable method for public entities to self-insure assets, operations and workers compensation.
