Background Information:
This request is to approve a contract, 224-220, for ARPA Funded project to upgrade the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) room at the City’s Public Services Complex (PSC). The project consists of installing Audio Visual (AV) equipment and upgrading existing hardware. The room will be furnished with audio visual equipment that enables access to and display of various internal and external sources of information, which will allow and assist city staff and emergency operation personnel in making decisions. The vendor, NWN Corporation, recently provided AV upgrades to meeting rooms throughout a number of City facilities. The contract will be through the Choice Partners Purchasing Cooperative Contract # 21/031KN-43.
This procurement is made pursuant to Local Government Code 271.102 which authorizes municipalities to participate in cooperative purchasing programs.
