Background Information:
The City purchased Nimble Storage Array Systems on May 2, 2017 contract #217-338 for $374,605.63 from Freeit Data Solutions, Inc. thru the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (TCPA) Department of Information Resources (DIR) Program, contract# DIR-TSO-2716.
This authorization of change is service is to purchase 242 tera bytes of additional storage and maintenance to support the continual movement to a paperless environment, new systems coming online, growth in digital imagery and system backups are the main reasons. The growth rate for storage is 24% per year.
The additional storage, software and support is $397,091.32 through Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (DIR) contract #DIR-TSO-4160, making the total amount of the contract $771,696.95.
