Background Information:
The new Public Service Center on Clovis Barker Road is in Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative’s service area. As the electric utility provider to the new facility, Bluebonnet requires an easement for the installation of underground conduit and wires, transformer, electric meter, etc.
City staff, the project owner’s representative, and project designers worked with Bluebonnet to establish the optimum locations for its equipment and reviewed the requested easement location and dimensions. The easement is a standard electric utility easement in both dimension and purpose, running along the east edge of the property line, allowing electric connections to services along both north and south property limits, and includes an area for the site service transformer, metering, etc.
