Background Information:
This action will establish new On-Call General Engineering Services contracts with Halff Associates, Inc. to provide professional design and engineering support for various projects approved in the FY2026 CIP. The on-call contracts will allow the City to efficiently issue task orders for engineering design, plan review, and technical support services as project needs arise.
Halff Associates were selected from the City’s list of pre-qualified engineering firms based on their demonstrated expertise in design and project management, which was established through a Request for Qualifications solicitation process, RFQ 221-105. The resulting list of qualified firms included Halff Associates, Inc., and was approved by City Council via Resolution 2022-74R. Execution of this agreement, in the amount of $900k, will help with the City’s ability to advance CIP projects in an efficient manner while maintaining quality and consistency in design and documentation standards.
