Background Information:
This request is to award a contract #2026-181 to Impact Promotional Services, LLC, dba Got You Covered Work Wear and Uniforms to enable the Fire Department to purchase uniforms and related items throughout the year on an as-needed basis. The contract to Impact Promotional Services, LLC, dba Got You Covered Work Wear and Uniforms is through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative contract #773-25. The initial contract will be for a period of one (1) year with the option to extend for up to two (2) additional one-year periods, for a total contract term of three (3) years. The estimated annual contract amount is $110,000. If all extension options are exercised, the total contract amount is estimated to be $330,000.
Pursuant to Local Government Code, Chapter 271, the City is authorized to participate in cooperative purchasing programs. Therefore, staff recommends approval of this contract to Impact Promotional Services, LLC, dba Got You Covered Work Wear and Uniforms located in Fort Worth, Texas, in the estimated annual contract amount of $110,000 through BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative contract #773-25.
