Background Information:

Resolution 2021-94R, approved on May 18, 2021, contained conflicting language between the Authorization for Change In Service #4 (ACIS#4) and the attached approval and scoping letter for the 5th amendment.  This resolution voids the May 18, 2021 ACIS#4 and corrects the discrepancy in language to eliminate that conflict.

The City acquired the Willow Creek subdivision water service area from Crystal Clear SUD. This change will add the Willow Creek wells, booster pumps, tanks and other equipment to the scope of City infrastructure in our ground water system that GBRA operates and maintains per the operations contract 215-094R. It also provides additional compensation for the chemicals, labor and materials to do so.

This change in service is to increase the contract amount by $25,863.84 annually through 2025 for the added subdivisions.

An increase in power cost of $24,000 annually will be needed - Pursuant to Section 10.4, Pass-Through Cost Component, the City shall reimburse GBRA each month for all electric, chemical and insurance costs as a pass-through cost.
