Stormwater Master Plan
Background Information:
This Authorization of Change in Service #2 (ACIS #2) to contract 219-069, is to develop plans, specs and estimates for option #2 from the Castle Forest Drainage Preliminary Engineering Report. This includes storm sewer and channel improvements within the Castle Forest Subdivision. Bid phase services are also included with this ACIS #2. Current construction cost is just over $1M and scheduled to start in the latter half of 2023. This project has also applied for a construction loan/grant with the Texas Water Development Board and is currently in progress. A City Council Resolution was required for the application and approval was made on April 19, 2022, through Resolution 2022-75R.
HDR was initially selected for the Preliminary Engineering Report Agreement from the 2017 qualified engineers list (RFQ 217-247) approved by Council in June 2017.
