Background Information:

The applicant and their engineer are requesting access to wastewater service from the City of San Marcos for a proposed single family residential development comprised of 404 lots with a minimum 4,800 sf lot area. The property is approximately 73 acres in size and the applicant estimates maximum usage of 817 gallons per minute. The applicant has signed the consent to annexation form, however, they inserted a condition that the property cannot be annexed until approximately 30-years after approval of this request. Further, approval would subsequently require the extension of the City’s wastewater facilities.
