Background Information:
This action will increase the authorized contract amounts, in general, by $200,000 for the title research services on-call contracts to Hollerbach & Associates, Inc., (contract number 222-216) awarded administratively in 2022 as a professional services agreement. Under Texas Local Government Code, Section 252.022(a)(4), professional services are exempt from competitive solicitation.
This agreement is for use in title research on multiple projects as needed for various city projects and department requests to determine the accuracy of ownership, existing easements, and any known liens filed against properties across Hays, Guadalupe, and Caldwell counties.
