Background Information:
• This Interlocal Agreement with Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) covers the provision of transit services to the San Marcos urbanized area from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021
• The services CARTS will provide under this Interlocal Agreement include; operating the transit services, maintaining the transit facilities and equipment, fare collection, providing customer service, and collection of operational data
• The funding amount for the period of the agreement is not to exceed $2,490,359.00. Funding for this period is C.A.R.E.S. Act transit funds reimbursable at 100% Federal share
